Care instructions

You can use any wax to remove the oxidation and polish the glass. I recommend Pledge as it does not get stuck into tight corners. Spray Pledge onto paper towel instead of directly onto the glass. Glass cleaners work but will strip the protective wax off the solder seams. If your item is NOT framed (such as the glass feathers) be gentle with the edges since they can peel back.

Silver Solder Seams : If your panel has silver solder lines spray Pledge on paper towel and polish the glass and solder seams.

Black or Bronze Solder Seams: If your panel has black or bronze solder lines you will also use Pledge to polish the glass, but you must be gentle when wiping the solder seams as some of the patina will rub off with to much pressure.

Why are there bubbles in my glass?

Most of the glass I use is hand made. The sheets of glass are always similar but never exact so your stained glass item is unique. With that in mind all hand made items have faults.

Sometimes glass has bubbles or drag lines which may appear as scratches. This is sometimes done intentionally to add the appearance of movement to the glass. Hand made glass is also more expensive.

Order Cancellations

Cancellations may be subject to a 2% fee on entire purchase price if cancelled AFTER 24 hours.

What happens if my panel arrives damaged?

If a panel arrives damaged, the customer has the option to have another panel made or to receive a full refund. To receive the refund/replacement you will be required to destroy the delivered damaged panel. Once I receive a photo (of the destroyed panel) the new panel will be shipped or a full refund will be issued. Instructions will be sent on the best way to crack the panel if this were to occur. Under no circumstances will the customer be allowed to keep the original panel.

Do you make custom sizes?

I do make custom sizes but the max size I can ship with regular post is 25.5″ 14.5″. If you are local to Toronto, Canada pick up or delivery is available. I do ship large speciality panels, but they are created and are usually $1000+ to crate and ship.
